God is GREAT and GREATLY to be praised! He is worthy of all the glory and honour that is due to His MATCHLESS name.
My name is Susan Isaac. Recently I was ill and spent over two weeks in the hospital. It was bad! I have 7 grandchildren and I could not remember any of their names. I pleaded with God over and over again for healing and gradually their names came back to me.
While at the hospital, my phone was stolen and I had no contact with my family for over a week. I felt that I had lost them forever!
Although I was at my lowest, I knew that my family and my friends were praying for me.
I was elated to be eventually discharged; little did I know the news that was awaiting me on my arrival home:
- My brother had died!
- My sister had been hospitalized!
- One of my daughters was sick!
- My husband was sick!
This was a lot to bear, while still battling my own illness. But, I remembered God’s promise that He would never give us more than we could bear.
Today, I am still standing! I’m not 100%, but I’m getting there by God’s mercy and grace.
And so I want to take this opportunity to give heartfelt thanks to my entire family, my relatives and my friends, for the prayers they ascended on my behalf.
I want to encourage everyone to hold on, no matter what comes your way, because we have the assurance that:
“It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear.” Isaiah 65:24 (NKJV)
